Ground Floor

Kitchen/ Dining room 

You enter the house directly into the Kitchen, which has all you need.   Including the window seat, We have seating for 6 around the table (which extends) and all the usual appliances to make your stay comfortable.  This includes a toaster, steamer, gas cooker and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a plentiful supply of cutlery and crockery.

Watch out and don’t bang your head on our very old roof beams (probably 17^th Century).

On the right you will find the 

Sitting Room  

Our sitting room is a cosy space with room for 6 people.

There is a 32 inch smart TV and a DVD player.  Our freesat box provides you Freeview channels and the Now TV has access to catch up TV services (BBC Iplayer, All4, ITV Hub, Demand 5).  We are not admitting that it ever rains in Alderney but we have family games, masses of DVDs, books and stuff to do craft with.  Please help yourself!

First terrace 

At the back of the house we have our first terrace which is a real suntrap in the summer months.  There is a table and chairs so that you can enjoy the sun, and it’s a great place to dry your washing in superfast time.

Stairs go up to the second terrace where you will find a gas barbecue and a table and more chairs; another suntrap!

Shed

We have a shed with washing machine and boiler on your left.  You’ll also find cushions for the chairs on both terraces and BBQ tools.

First Floor

Climbing the staircase from the kitchen you reach the first floor landing with:

Bathroom 1 

Bath with overhead shower, loo and basin 

Bedroom 1  

On the left is the master bedroom looking out on both front and back of the house, beautiful sash windows, lots of natural light and access to the sun terrace.  The double bed has a pocket sprung mattress, making it very comfortable and there is plenty of space for your clothes in the cupboard and chest of drawers, plus additional hanging space. 

You will find lots of John Lewis towels and bedding, so please make yourself comfortable.

Sun Terrace 

You can access the sun terrace from the master bedroom. It has a table, chairs, barbecue and lots of sun!

Bedroom 2 

On the right is a single bedroom which looks out on both the front and the back of the house, so with lots of natural light and very comfortable. It has a chest of drawers and a wardrobe and there is additional bedding if needed.

Second Floor

continuing up the steep staircase with rope bannister,  you reach the second and top floor:

Bedroom 3 

On the left is another double bedroom, with plenty of cupboards and again, lots of natural light as it looks out on both the front and back of the house.

Bathroom 2 

We’ve a little bathroom on this floor with a good shower, loo and basin.  We’ve made sure it has natural light with a velux window.

Bedroom 4 

Finally, there is a second single room on the 2^nd floor.  Again, it is very comfortable with lots of fitted cupboards.
